Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: July 2026 Last Updated: July 2026
Welcome to the Georgia Wireless Association ("GWA," "we," "us," or "our") website. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of georgiawirelessassoc.com (the "Site") and any related content, resources, or events offered by GWA.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site or register interest in a GWA event. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to bind any organization you represent.
2. Participation
GWA welcomes participation from individuals and organizations in the wireless industry community. Signing up for our mailing list or attending GWA events does not create any formal membership status, partnership, agency, joint venture, or employment relationship between GWA and any participant, unless separately agreed to in writing.
3. Events and Registration
3.1. Registration and ticket purchases for GWA events (conferences, webinars, networking sessions, trade shows, etc.) are processed through third-party platforms (such as Eventbrite), not directly by GWA through this Site.
3.2. Your registration or purchase is subject to that third-party platform's own terms of service, privacy policy, and payment processing terms. Payment, billing questions, cancellations, and refunds must be handled directly through the third-party platform — GWA does not process payments or issue refunds on the Site.
3.3. GWA reserves the right to modify event dates, formats, speakers, or venues, and to cancel events, at its discretion. Notice of any changes or cancellations will be communicated to registrants, but any resulting refund is subject to the third-party platform's policies.
3.4. By attending a GWA event, you consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed for promotional purposes, unless you notify GWA staff in writing in advance.
4. Antitrust Compliance
GWA is committed to full compliance with all applicable antitrust and competition laws. Participation in GWA activities, committees, events, or communications must not involve discussions of pricing, bid terms, market allocation, or other competitively sensitive information between competitors. GWA reserves the right to end any discussion, remove any content, or restrict participation that raises antitrust concerns.
5. User Conduct
When using the Site, you agree not to:
-
Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law
-
Post or transmit false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content
-
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other user accounts, or GWA systems
-
Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited commercial communications
-
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with GWA
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the GWA name and marks, images, and design elements — is owned by GWA or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2. You may view, download, and print content from the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, or modification — requires GWA's prior written consent.
6.3. Sponsor logos, partner marks, or other third-party branding displayed on the Site remain the property of their respective owners.
7. User-Submitted Content
If you submit content to the Site (comments, testimonials, photos, forum posts, or similar), you grant GWA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with GWA's operations and promotional efforts. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not infringe on any third party's rights.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (member sites, sponsor sites, industry resources). GWA does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimers
9.1. The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
9.2. GWA does not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9.3. Content on the Site (including industry news, regulatory updates, or educational materials) is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, engineering, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting on any information found on the Site.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GWA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or participation in GWA events, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. GWA is not responsible for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from payments, refunds, or transactions processed through third-party event platforms.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GWA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party right.
